Our youngest son Peter and his wife Amy have a son Paul. They live in Cedar Falls where he is senior pastor at Trinity Bible Church. Amy is a nurse.

I served in the Marine Corps as a Supply Officer and was stationed out in 29 Palms, California during the 1970's. I met my husband Matt in the Marines.
Here I am with my parents Dwight and Sally Puttmann on the day in the spring of 1977 when I was commissioned an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Our oldest son Caleb and his wife Sheridan with their son Ethan are at home i Tulsa, Oklahoma where he is an attorney in private practice.
Our middle son Jesse and his wife Lacey with granddaughter Sidney and grandson Titus. They are stationed in Abilene, Texas where Jesse is a Captain on active duty in the Air Force and flies C-130's.
My husband Matt retired from the Iowa Army National Guard with 34 years of military service. Included in his tour of duty were an assignment to Lebanon in the wake of the terrorist bombing of the Marine barracks in 1983 and a deployment to Iraq in 2008 with a National Guard Aviation Team whose mission was to train Iraqi Air Force helicopter pilots.
